The Intra-College Fest Maitri 2021 celebrated togetherness with Alliance on 19th and 20th of November, 2021, signifying a camaraderie of enduring affection that vaunted away with big smiles!

The fest was inaugurated by Mr. Abhay Chebbi, Pro Chancellor, Dr. Anubha Singh, Vice-Chancellor and graced by the presence of Dr. Punith Cariappa, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Ms. Surekha Shetty - Sr. Director and Dr. Nivedita Mishra, Registrar.

Under the guidance of Dr. Subrata Dey, Dean, Alliance School of Business the Marketrix Club extended a warm hand of friendship to Alliance School of Law, Alliance College of Engineering & Design, and Alliance Ascent College to host the fest that brought barrels of joy to Alliance.

Maitri started with a discussion between 4-5 enthusiasts that turned into reality with twenty eight core members and more than eighty volunteers. The discussion room was declared a war room symbolizing a constant fight for day and night struggle that students overcame to make Maitri a success. Glories to Maitri were brought in by an array of twenty events conceptualized, driven, and executed by the student community. The fest provided a euphoric experience of Battle of Rock Band, a Fashion Show, and a DJ night.

This two-day event was an enriching experience for students who gained event management skills, technical skills to create game props for events, and cultural enrichment along with the collaborating teams from all other departments.

The event engaged ideas, suggestions that turned into plans and executions with opportunities for future growth. The event was an overall experience of learning, entertainment, escapism, and expansion. The hues of Maitri left beautiful footprints in the hearts of many and thus a bond of friendship is to behold for years to come by.
