Mr. Syamasudha Veeragandham

Mr. Syamasudha Veeragandham is pursuing his Ph.D. at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore. He holds a B.Tech and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, he has qualified GATE multiple times in Computer Science and Engineering, with a notable All India Rank (AIR) of 2510 in 2008.
His research focused on applying deep learning and computer vision techniques in agricultural domains. He has published extensively, including SCI and SCOPUS-indexed journal papers in Q1 journals, along with several UGC-recognized articles and conference papers. He has also acted as a reviewer for international journals under Springer Nature. Additionally, he has also served as a session chair at an international conference, contributing to the academic review and discussion process.
Mr. Syamasudha Veeragandham, is a committed academician with over 11 years of teaching experience in Computer Science and Engineering. He has served as an Assistant Professor at reputed institutions. With a strong foundation in both theory and application, he has taught a wide range of subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, such as C Language, Data Structures, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Graphics, and Python Programming.
Beyond classroom teaching, he has actively contributed to academic development through his roles in NBA/NAAC accreditation processes and as coordinator for COs, POs, PSOs, and PEOs. He has guided multiple B.Tech and M.Tech projects and has encouraged students in competitive exams like GATE. His institutional contributions also include responsibilities such as project coordinator, time-table in-charge, and class in-charge.
He successfully completed the IUCEE International Engineering Educator Certification Program and attended NITTTR FDP courses, which significantly enriched his understanding and practice of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), curriculum design, and student-centred learning methodologies. Additionally, he has completed multiple NPTEL-AICTE Faculty Development Program (FDP) courses, further strengthening his subject expertise and pedagogical effectiveness in computer science education.
He has served as a resource person for faculty development programs across various colleges. His continuous upskilling is evident from participation in numerous FDPs and workshops on AI, IoT, cloud computing, and machine learning.
