Mr. Danish Fayaz

Assistant Professor

Mr. Danish Fayaz is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering (Alliance School of Engineering and Design) at Alliance University, Bengaluru.
He submitted his PhD Thesis titled "Nonlinear Dynamic Instability and Dynamic Response of Laminated Composite Stiffened Plates Subjected to In-plane Harmonic Loading" in the Department of Civil Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani-Pilani Campus, Rajasthan, in 2023.

His areas of expertise are linear and non-linear finite element analysis, static, free vibration, buckling, dynamic stability, and linear and non-linear dynamic response analyses of composite plates and shells. Mr. Danish possesses exemplary finite element analysis coding skills in FORTRAN and has effectively utilized MATLAB for various computational tasks which have been instrumental in his collaborative research work. His exceptional skills in mathematical modeling, solving linear and nonlinear system of equations, and utilizing numerical methods make him using FE method an outstanding candidate in the field of finite element analysis of composite structures. One of his standout strengths lies in their expertise in software tools like ABAQUS.

Danish Fayaz completed his postgraduate degree (M.Tech.) from the Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, Punjab, in 2018 specializing in Structural Engineering. He pursued his bachelor's degree of B.Tech in Civil Engineering in 2016 from Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. After completing his postgraduate studies, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir for a duration of 6 months.

Throughout his academic journey, Mr. Danish taught courses like analysis of structures, mechanics of solids, engineering surveying, and engineering graphics.
