Dr. Sumeet Chakraborty completed his Doctorate from Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad) Jharkhand. His doctorate thesis broadly discusses the stability and vibration behaviour of CNT reinforced composite curved panels subjected to thermomechanical loadings. The discussed study has been carried out using semi-analytical approach and based on the same, he has successfully published 5 SCI articles in reputed journals.

Dr. Sumeet has also published and presented research under reputed international conferences. He was also a SPARC Fellow which was a Government of India initiative towards foreign collaborations. Apart from research experience, he also has experience in academics which provide him an inspiration to continue his career in the field of academics and research.
