Dr. Srinivasan Ramprasad

Dr. Srinivasan Ramprasad has earned his MS degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA and he also holds an M. Tech. degree in Aeronautical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. He holds a Doctoral Degree from Jain University Bangalore. He has over 25 years of industry experience having worked for top multinational companies like GE Aircraft Engines and Honeywell Technologies. Dr. Ramprasad developed the Craig Bampton Dynamic Substructuring code and the Thin-walled composite Beam Finite element in the VSSC, now a commercial software FEAST.

Dr. Ramprasad has filed a Patent on Structural Health Monitoring system using HUMS (Health and Usage Monitoring) and/or ACMF (Aircraft Condition Monitoring Function). He has a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. In his last assignment, Dr. Srinivasan worked as a Staff Scientist and drove the new product development initiatives at Honeywell Technology solutions demonstrating capability to lead high technology R&D intensive projects and lead them to successful execution.
