Dr. Sayan Mukherjee obtained both M. Phil and Ph.D degrees from the Department of Pure Mathematics, University of Calcutta. The topic of the PhD was related to nonlinear dynamics and Chaos theory. The dissertation of the M. Phil project was related to the application of wavelet analysis in PCG signals. His research area is associated with complex dynamics, fractal theory and its application to real-world phenomena. He has made two scientific visits to foreign countries. He has over 18 years of teaching experience in various institutions including Calcutta University. He has been invited to different International conferences, symposiums, Faculty development programs and workshops as a resource person.
