Dr. Sarit Maitra earned his Ph.D. in Information Technology from Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia. He is an accomplished Data Analytics and Data Science professional. He is a visionary leader with strategic mindset and global business experience combined with technical architecture designing and solutioning. He comes with over two decades of industry experience in big data, cloud computing, and machine learning.
Dr. Maitra has research interests in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. During his career, he has worked in various capacities from solution architect to program manager & director technology related to data & analytics solutions. He has helped many enterprises in developing data management and platform capabilities for both Analytics and Data Science initiatives.
