Dr. Jyotishkumar Parameswaranpillai

Associate Professor

Department of Science

Dr. Jyotishkumar Parameswaranpillai has Post Doctoral Research experience at Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden (IPF), Germany and Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry (Polymer Science and Technology) from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala.

Dr. Jyotishkumar has published many papers in high-quality international peer-reviewed journals on polymer nanocomposites, polymer blends and alloys, and biopolymer. He is a frequent invited and keynote speaker, and a reviewer for many international journals, book proposals, and international conferences. He has received numerous awards and recognitions including the prestigious INSPIRE Faculty Award 2011, Kerala State Award for the Best Young Scientist 2016, and Best Researcher Award 2019 from King Mongkut’s University of Technology, North Bangkok.

Dr. Jyotishkumar is named in the world’s top 2% of the most-cited scientists in Single Year Citation Impact 2020, by Stanford University. His research interest includes polymer coatings, shape memory polymers, antimicrobial polymer films, green composites, nanostructured materials, water purification, polymer blends, and high-performance composites.
