Dr. Dunia Prince Zongwe

Dr. Dunia Prince Zongwe has earned his JSD and LL.M. degrees from Cornell University, USA and an LL.B. (cum laude) at the University of Namibia. He also has a certificate (translation) from Université de Montréal.

Dr. Zongwe specializes in finance (e.g., investments and banking), law and economics, international law, comparative law, and development, focusing on Africa. He has written extensively in those fields. Overall, he has published four books (including two single-authored books) and about 60 articles, papers, and chapters. His research appeared in journals such as American University International Law Review, African Studies Review, Israel Law Review, Southern African Public Law, and Peking University Journal of Legal Studies. 

Dr. Zongwe has carried out consulting projects for clients such as UNESCO, the World Justice Project, and the Law Society of Namibia. He has received several merit scholarships and awards, such as the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC South Africa) runner-up Certificate of Excellence, the Cornell Institute for African Development fellowship, and the UNAM Vice-Chancellor‘s Medal.
