Overview
Embark on a transformative legal education at the Alliance School of Law, where we understand the intrinsic link between law and the social sciences. Our B.A. LL. B. (Hons.) programme uniquely integrates subjects such as Political Science, Sociology, Economics, and English, alongside a comprehensive legal curriculum.

- 10+2 or equivalent from recognised Board / Council with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC / ST) in aggregate
- Diploma with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC / ST) in aggregate from AICTE recognised institute

Pedagogy
The Alliance School of Law is committed to imparting world-class learning in law practice and governance to its key constituents. To fulfill this objective, the curriculum and teaching pedagogy is designed to prepare its graduates in the domestic, international and comparative law subjects. Graduates from the Alliance School of Law study compulsory subjects and choose from an unparalleled range of elective subjects. In addition to subjects on substantive and procedural law, its attorney-graduates also acquire lawyering skills through practical training activities and clinical, legal programs even while they inculcate in themselves sound research and writing skills.
Learning Delivery
There are six subjects in each semester except semesters nine and ten, which have only five subjects in each.
In the fourth semester, students of the B.A. LL. B. (Hons.) course have the option to select Non-Law Specialization in Economics, Sociology or Political Science by studying in 4 , 5 , and 6 semester additional subjects in their chosen area of specialization.
Similarly, students of the B.B.A. LL. B. (Hons.) course can pursue specialization in either Management or Finance.
Students of both B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) also have the option of pursuing 3 papers of mass communication instead of specialization in any one of the aforementioned areas.
In the sixth semester, students of both courses may select any one specific area in Law out of five honors areas (Intellectual Property Rights Law, Business Law, International Law, Constitutional Law or Criminal Law) and are required to study eight subjects from the respective honors group.

(Hons.) is for students who desire specialised legal knowledge and research that will give them an advantage in their job, whereas a B. A. LL. B. curriculum is for those who seek a comprehensive knowledge of law and social sciences. Although both programmes are usually five-year integrated law programmes, the (Hons.) degree is more challenging and academically advanced than the average B. A. LL.B. curriculum.
Among the specialisations at B. A. LL. B. are intellectual property rights, white collar crimes, mediation, and arbitration. The assessment of CLAT All India Rank is the first phase of eligibility, followed by a personal interview. In case the student has not taken the CLAT exam, they must take the Alliance University Common Law Aptitude Test (ACLAT) in addition to an online personal interview round. Admission to Alliance School of Law does not require taking the CLAT.
Indeed. Graduates of the B. A. LL. B. (Hons.) programme may work as judges, attorneys, or legal advisors if they fulfil the requirements and pass the required tests.
Alliance School of Law has industry ties and collaborations to provide Assessment Internships to the Integrated programme students and from the first year onwards, the students are eligible to participate in NMCC & ARM's (National Moot Court Competitions and Annual Ranking moot (Internal).

Yes. Scholarships are available to B. A. LL. B. (Hons.) students at Alliance University. In addition to the merit-based rewards (up to 50% fee remission through CLAT, AUSAT, or board exam scores), the University also offers scholarships to students in the category and special scholarships for SC/ST, differently abled, defence wards, athletes, and Karnataka domicile students. Yes. Placements support and preparations are provided to the students by the Career Advancement & Networking (CAN) office of Alliance University. The CAN office ensures that the students are provided with internships, placement training and good placements. with good academic records lead to placements in the legal sector. At Alliance School of Law, students are encouraged to do more internships than the required number by the Bar Council of India.
The B. A. LL. B. curriculum at Alliance University includes essential courses that complement UPSC and Judicial Services curricula.
