Alliance University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) on the 13th of November 2021 at the central campus.

The signatories of the MoU were:

• Mr. Abhay G. Chebbi, Pro Chancellor, Alliance University
• Mr. Roshan R., Deputy General Manager, Toyota Kirloskar Motors

This MoU outlined the initiative for cooperation between the two institutions on industry-centric training programs for students and faculty members of the university.

The signing ceremony witnessed inspiring and hopeful speeches from leaderships of both the University as well as Toyota Kirloskar Motors.

Mr. Abhay G. Chebbi, Pro Chancellor, Alliance University addressed the gathering with great fervour and optimism in partnering with Toyota. Dr. Anubha Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Alliance University emphasized the need to follow the key principles of the “Toyota Way.”

Mr. Roshan R., Deputy General Manager, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, praised the efforts of Alliance University in sustaining a green campus and
expressed great delight in this partnership. Mr. Roshan emphasized the importance of bridging the gaps between industry and academia. He shared some essential human resource development processes followed at Toyota Technical Training Campus.

On the MoU, Mr. Roshan hoped for this partnership to go a long way and benefit the learning community in understanding best practices and increasing their employment opportunities.
