Assistant Professor & Central Blended Learning Coordinator

Alliance College of Engineering and Design

Dr. Sumit Kumar Banshal completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and M.Sc. in Computer Science from South Asian University (A SAARC organization). His Ph.D. thesis concentrated around the broader area of Information Sciences where he theorized the scholarly article engagements on social media platforms. He has established some crucial linking in between impact assessment of scholarly articles and social media transactions around the same. He completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Information and Communication Engineering from Department of Information and Communication Engineering, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

Before his post-graduation, Dr. Banshal has worked for a software development company at Dhaka, where he developed several application-based customized software in .NET platform. His research works spread around text processing, data mining, sentiment analysis, social media analysis. He has taught versatile courses like Data Mining, Web Engineering, Research & Innovation, Social & Professional Issues in Computing, Object Oriented Programming during his academic career.
