Dr.  Nagendran  R, basically an Engineering  Graduate (1979) and Master of Business Administration (1985), from the reputed educational institute, P S G College of Technology, which is in existence for more than 65 years.  Through outstanding research on derivatives, he earned his PhD in Management Studies, in the year 2009.

Dr.  Nagendran, worked in Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd,   India's largest textile machinery and CNC Machine Tool manufacturers, based in Coimbatore for 6 years.

Dr. Nagendran served in Tamilnadu Industrial Investment Corporation Ltd., a premier State Financial Corporation established in the year 1949, at various capacities for 16 years.

Dr. Nagendran also served as financial consultant in J soft Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an IT company for two years.

His academic service as professor, for about 13 years, added from reputed institutions like VIT University, Bharath University, affiliated colleges of Anna University etc.  

Dr. Nagendran also served as Programme Manager, Division leader of (Finance, Accounts and Economics), at VIT Business School, and Director of Excel Business School.

Dr. Nagendran has a preeminent experience of more than three decades, which includes 24 years in Industries and 14 + years in academic

Dr Nagendran has expertise in Financial Derivatives and Risk Management, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, International Financial Management, Corporate Finance etc.

Dr Nagendran won two times the best paper award in National conferences in Finance area.
