Mr. Nepoleon Prabakaran

Assistant Professor

Nepoleon Prabakaran previously worked as an Assistant Professor at CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), and a doctoral researcher pursuing his PhD in the areas of consumer neuroscience and the implications of the metaverse. Before entering academia, he worked with ICICI Bank, gaining industry insights that continue to shape his teaching and research.

He holds an MBA in Marketing and Analytics and a background in Information Technology, enabling him to integrate quantitative, technological, and managerial perspectives in his academic work. His research interests span consumer behavior, organizational behavior, and emerging technologies, with a strong emphasis on responsible AI and its role in education and management.

Mr. Prabakaran has an active research portfolio with over 25 publications, including more than 10 papers indexed in Scopus and 14 papers indexed in Web of Science. His publications explore themes such as transformational leadership, consumer behavior in digital contexts, job crafting and employee flourishing, cultural intelligence, and the role of the metaverse in shaping organizational and consumer practices.

In addition to research, he is recognized for his teaching in operations management and decision sciences, where he blends contemporary tools with traditional pedagogy to enhance student learning and bridge the gap between theory, research, and practice.
