Harshith K. M. is an aviation professional and educator specializing in Organizational Behaviour and Aviation Management. He brings a strong blend of technical aircraft maintenance experience and managerial insight to the classroom, enabling students to connect theoretical concepts with real-world management practices. Harshith is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Behaviour and Aviation Management from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), where his research integrates human behaviour, operational dynamics, and sectoral transformation within the aviation ecosystem. He holds an MBA in Aviation Management and Operations, a Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Maintenance, and has completed an executive program from Toulouse Business School, France.
Before entering academia, Harshith worked with Air Works India Engineering Pvt. Ltd. in Base and Line Maintenance, gaining hands-on experience across Airbus and Boeing aircraft families. His experience in maintenance operations, safety, and regulatory compliance, as well as technical documentation, continues to shape his applied teaching approach.
Harshith has taught at ARKA JAIN University and CMS Business School, covering Aviation & Aerospace Management, OB & HRM, and General Management. He also engages with industry through corporate training programs on personality traits, behavioral skills, and workforce assessments for organizations such as Acumen Aviation.
His research interests center on human behaviour, psychological influences on decision-making, operational dynamics, and evolving approaches to work within the aviation industry. His teaching philosophy emphasizes experiential learning, reflective practice, and active participation. He incorporates simulations, role plays, scenario-based exercises, and workplace-derived problem contexts to foster practical understanding and managerial decision-making skills among students.
