Mr. Harshith K M

Mr. Harshith K. M. is an accomplished academic professional with a strong interdisciplinary background spanning management education, aviation studies, and industry practice. He brings a unique blend of academic rigor, curriculum development expertise, and hands-on aviation maintenance experience, making him a valuable contributor to contemporary management and aviation education.

In his previous role at the School of Commerce & Management, ARKA JAIN University, Jamshedpur, Mr. Harshith taught core MBA courses including Organizational Behavior, Managing Diversity at the Workplace, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, and Legal Aspects of Business and Environment. He played a key role in academic development initiatives, co-leading the design and curriculum matrix for a new MBA specialization in Family Business and Entrepreneurship, aligned with industry and entrepreneurial trends. His contributions also included refining Course Outcomes for over 30 MBA courses in line with Outcome-Based Education, revising MBA credit structures in accordance with NEP 2020, and developing departmental SOPs based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. Additionally, he drafted the MBA Student Manual and departmental regulations, strengthening academic governance and transparency.

Mr. Harshith has also served at CMS Business School, JAIN (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, where he delivered postgraduate and MBA-level courses in General Management and Aviation. His teaching portfolio included Business Communication, Airport Management, Disaster Management, Safety and Security, Ground Handling Operations, and Aviation Law. He acted as the Point of Contact for the University’s PGP collaboration with Acumen Aviation, facilitating effective industry-academia integration. His academic engagement extended to moderating specialized workshops, supervising internships, conducting orientation programs, and ensuring IQAC-compliant documentation and quality assurance processes.

In addition, Mr. Harshith contributed to undergraduate teaching at the School of Commerce, JAIN (Deemed to be University), delivering courses in Airline Maintenance Management and Airline Operations, while overseeing assessments and experiential learning activities.

Prior to entering academia, Mr. Harshith gained extensive industry experience with Air Works India Engineering Pvt. Ltd., working in both line and base maintenance operations. His exposure to maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance across multiple international airlines has significantly enriched his teaching with real-world insights.

Through his combined academic leadership and industry expertise, Mr. Harshith K. M. continues to contribute meaningfully to student development, curriculum innovation, and institutional excellence.
