Dr. Sumant Kumar

Assistant Professor

Dr. Sumant Kumar obtained his M.Phil and Ph.D. degree from Centre for West AsianStudies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Dr. Sumant Kumar holds B.A. (Hons.) degree in History from Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh and Master's degree in Human Rights and Duties Education from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.

Dr. Sumant Kumar has participated in the several seminars and symposiums, aside from doing his own research. He has presented several papers related to his area of specialisation. He has also teaching experience in Human Rights, Political Science and International Relations, and Law subjects in Central University of Jharkhand. He has published several papers in his areas of specialization such as; Human Rights, Women’s Rights, Tribal Rights, Child Rights, Indian Foreign Policy, Islam and on West Asian region.
