Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) - Interaction Design

Overview

The four-year undergraduate programme in Interaction Design at Alliance University offers a unique educational experience enabling them to become proficient and visually articulate professionals. Our holistic curriculum allows each student to acquire discipline specific knowledge and skills within a broad framework of transdisciplinary learning.

The programme fosters critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity. Students engage in a variety of projects spanning diverse digital mediums, interactive media, Human-Computer interface (HCI), information design using a variety of digital software. Students learn aspects of psychology, user behaviour, digital and media culture, creative coding while engaging with contemporary technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Extended Reality (XR). Students gain real-world exposure through hands-on projects, industry collaborations, and internships.

The programme equips students with the ability to create engaging and delightful experiences with sensitivity, while keeping pace with new technology trends in the fast-growing field of interaction design.
