International Programmes
Eligibility and Application
International programmes are open to highly motivated and academically driven students who meet the eligibility criteria.
Academic Requirements:
Minimum GPA: Universities often require a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) to qualify for study abroad programmes.
Year of Study: Some programmes may only be available to students who have completed two semesters at Alliance University or one year at their home university.
Course Prerequisites: Specific programmes might have course prerequisites that must be completed to earn a degree at Alliance University.
Language Proficiency:
English Proficiency: students may need to demonstrate Proficiency through tests like TOEFL or IELTS or, in some cases, a certificate of English Language Proficiency from Alliance University (depending on the requirement of the partner institution)
Financial Requirements:
Funding/Scholarships: Proof of sufficient funding to cover tuition, living expenses, travel, and other costs.
Health and Insurance:
Medical Examination: Some programmes may require a health check-up or specific vaccinations. (this may also be required for availing an accommodation on campus of a partner institution)
Health Insurance: Proof of health insurance that covers international travel and medical expenses.
Application Process:
Application Form: Complete the study abroad application form, which is often available through the university’s study abroad office.
Statement of Purpose: A written statement explaining why the student wants to study abroad and how it fits into their academic and career goals.
Approval from the respective Dean/Director on the consent form
Resume/CV: Detailing academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and relevant work experience.
Interview: Some programmes may require an interview during the selection process.
Passport and Visa:
Valid Passport: A passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended period of stay.
Student Visa: Obtaining the appropriate student visa for the host country.
Cultural Orientation:
Some programmes require participation in pre-departure orientation sessions. (OIA will provide an orientation on Do’s and Don’ts )
