Ms. Pavithra A is a committed academician and researcher with a robust educational background in Computer Science and Information Science. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Bangalore, registered in 2022. She holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science from PES University, Bangalore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science and Engineering from PES School of Engineering, Bangalore.
Her teaching career includes her role as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore. Previously, she served at AMC Engineering College in a similar capacity.
Pavithra’s research interests revolve around Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning, and Healthcare Systems. She has presented and published several papers in reputed journals and also authored a textbook on Operating Systems. Her academic projects include a diverse range of applications—from smart healthcare systems and retina image processing to smart agriculture and wireless sensor networks.
Her technical proficiency spans multiple programming languages including C, C++, Java, Python, and SQL, with hands-on experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
