Elsa Mustafa is a postgraduate scholar in International and European Law at Tilburg University, The Netherlands, with a strong academic foundation and practical experience in legal research, regulatory compliance, and international law. Her ongoing Master’s thesis, “WINGS OF CHANGE”, explores the conservation of European migratory birds under the CMS and EU Birds Directive in the context of climate change. She holds a dual degree (B.A. LL.B. with Honours in International Law) from KIIT School of Law, India, graduating with distinction.
Elsa has interned at several prestigious legal institutions, including the Competition Commission of India, where she contributed a comprehensive analysis influencing the Competition (Amendment) Bill 2022, and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, where she supported corporate legal drafting and compliance work. Her diverse legal internships span sectors such as arbitration, corporate law, banking, and insurance, across jurisdictions including India and the UAE.
With expertise in Legal Research & Analysis, Contract Drafting, Regulatory Compliance, and emerging areas like Legal Prompt Engineering and No-Code RAG, Elsa is adept at blending traditional legal skills with modern legal technologies. She is proficient in English (C2), Hindi/Urdu (native bilingual), and conversational in Malay and Dutch. She has also completed multiple international certifications in AI & Law, Cloud Computing Law, Copyright, and Arbitration, reflecting a commitment to interdisciplinary legal education.
