Ms Aishani Chakraborty is a dedicated scholar in Corporate and Commercial Law, with a specialisation in Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law. She completed her LL.B. from Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam, graduating with distinction, and her LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata.
During her academic journey, she actively engaged in co-curricular leadership as the Convenor of the Moot and Advocacy Society, participating in various moot court competitions, client counselling rounds, and legal conclaves, which reflects her commitment to advocacy and courtroom training.
Ms Aishani has also undertaken extensive legal research, including writing a dissertation on insolvency reforms in India, and has contributed articles to reputed journals on subjects ranging from gender rights to constitutional law. She has interned with leading legal chambers, strengthening her expertise in litigation strategy, drafting and legal analysis.
A passionate academician in the making, her goal is to contribute to legal education by bridging doctrinal knowledge with practical exposure, while actively engaging in research that influences policy and justice reform.
