Dr. Anurag Dwivedi

Dr. Anurag Dwivedi holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication and is an accomplished academician with diverse experience in teaching, research, and industry engagement in the field of mass communication. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Film and Media Studies, Alliance University, Bengaluru.
With a teaching portfolio that spans across core and interdisciplinary subjects, Dr. Dwivedi brings rich expertise in areas such as Advertising, Public Relations, Media Psychology, Development and Health Communication, Organizational Behaviour, Marketing Communication, and Integrated Marketing Communication. His academic approach emphasizes the integration of theory with real-world media practices, providing students with a well-rounded learning experience.
Dr. Dwivedi’s research interests include Health and Environmental Communication, Media Psychology, Advertising and Society, Brand Management, and the emerging domain of AI and Digital Humanities. He has contributed to reputed journals through his research on topics such as social media influence, public health messaging during crises, digital advertising, and consumer behavior.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Dwivedi has held teaching positions at institutions like Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University, Bhopal, Fashion TV School of Performing Arts, Ahmedabad and Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) Noida. He also brings hands-on industry experience, having worked as a Social Media Executive with the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Uttar Pradesh, as well as with digital marketing agencies and PR firms.
Dr. Dwivedi’s academic ethos centers around fostering critical thinking, encouraging ethical communication practices, and equipping students with the skills to navigate the evolving media landscape with creativity and responsibility.
