Dr. Priyanka Biswas

Dr. Priyanka Biswas holds a Ph.D. in Physical Sciences from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, affiliated with Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI). She received her Master’s from Calcutta University and Bachelor’s from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. Her research background includes both industrial R&D and academic experience.

Dr. Biswas has also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IIT Madras. She also held the post of Application Scientist at a Bengaluru start-up focussing on providing graphene-based technologies to manufacturing industries.

Current research interests of Dr. Biswas include soft matter physics, colloidal science and nanomaterials. She believes in a technology-oriented approach to research, where industry and academia co-exist. Her research interests are reflected in her wide range of publications in various international journals. She has also presented her work, nationally and internationally at several conferences.
