Mr. Jagat Pradip Das is a seasoned supply chain professional with over two decades of leadership experience across the FMCG and e-commerce industries. With a proven track record in driving large-scale supply chain transformations, process optimizations, and innovation-led operational excellence, he has held key leadership positions in prominent organizations including Coca-Cola, ITC Limited, and Flipkart.

He began his career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Coca-Cola in 1998, gaining extensive pan-India experience across multiple operational sites. At ITC Limited, he contributed significantly for over 14 years in roles spanning technical management, category manufacturing, and factory operations. Since 2019, he has served as Director of Operations at Flipkart, leading national-level initiatives in supply chain and logistics management.

Jagat has successfully led numerous transformation projects such as enhancing delivery speed (NDD to SDD), establishing throughput in quick commerce dark stores, building Warehouse-as-a-Service (WaaS) capabilities, and improving SLA in returns logistics. His expertise extends to industrial process optimization through Lean Six Sigma, value stream mapping, and data-driven performance tracking using tools like Power BI, Lucidchart, and AVIX.

A strong proponent of capability building, he has trained over 1,000 professionals in structured problem solving and operational excellence, while also organizing national-level productivity and kaizen competitions. His work in industrial and reliability engineering includes the adoption of digital twin models, OCR and RPA technologies, RFID-based tracking, and node optimization strategies.

Jagat is also a champion of sustainability, spearheading initiatives like packaging-free shipping, fleet electrification, and the elimination of single-use plastics. He has actively contributed to CSR and educational initiatives through programs like ITC’s Mission Sunehra Kaal and Flipkart’s Ekartavya.

A respected thought leader in the industry, he collaborates with academic and government bodies for skill development and is an active member of CII’s Supply Network group, promoting warehousing automation and digitization. His leadership style blends technical expertise with people empowerment, driving measurable impact across organizations and communities.
