Prof. Suresh C. brings with him over 27 years of distinguished industry experience spanning Strategy & Sustainability, Fintech, and Entrepreneurship, along with one year in academia.
Prof. Suresh holds an MBA from Nottingham University Business School (UK) and has completed an Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School (USA). He is presently pursuing his Ph.D. at the School of Management, Presidency University, India.
Before transitioning to academia, Prof. Suresh held several strategic leadership roles across globally reputed organizations. As Head of Strategy at Timken Bearings, he led the development of long-term strategic roadmaps and oversaw global collaborations for IT strategy, governance, and business process optimization, managing a team of over 240 professionals with a budget of USD 20 million.
During his tenure as Director – IT Strategy Consulting at Accenture, he spearheaded large-scale digital transformation initiatives, managed a global workforce of over 300 professionals, and led high-value projects with a portfolio size of USD 40 million. His responsibilities encompassed strategic planning, financial governance, talent development, and end-to-end operational management.
Earlier, as Head – IT Strategy at TCS Japan, Prof. Suresh established the SAP Centre of Excellence and led enterprise transformation programs across Japan and India, focusing on business process optimization, ITIL implementation, and global delivery governance.
An entrepreneur at heart, he also co-founded Nysa Technology, driving strategic improvements and establishing Centres of Excellence for clients such as LG Consulting. His earlier professional journey includes key strategic and marketing roles at Attune Consulting, Wipro Technologies, RJT Compuquest (USA), PSI Bull Systems (UK), and Continental Informatics (India).
Prof. Suresh’s rich cross-functional and cross-geographical experience has shaped his holistic understanding of strategy, digital transformation, and sustainability. His teaching philosophy is rooted in blending real-world insights with academic rigor to develop future-ready business leaders.
