Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Alliance College of Engineering and Design supports the research aspirations of scholars aiming to make impactful contributions to the field. Eligibility
- A 1-year / 2-semester master's degree programme after a 4-year / 8-semester bachelor’s degree programme or a 2-year / 4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree with 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University in "relevant discipline".
- Candidate seeking admission after a 4-year / 8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed in "related discipline".
- A candidate with an M. Phil Degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate shall be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. programme.
- A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST.

Research Fellowship: Full-time scholars receive a monthly research fellowship of Rs. 35,000 along with an annual research allowance of Rs. 25,000, providing essential financial support during the research period.
Conference Support: Financial assistance is available for Full-Time Research Scholars to attend national and international conferences, fostering exposure to diverse research perspectives and networking opportunities.
Plagiarism Check: Ensuring academic integrity, the university conducts periodic similarity checks on research papers and chapters.
Intensive Coursework: Prior to embarking on the research study, scholars undergo rigorous coursework, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge for their research pursuits.
Transfer Facilities: The university facilitates the transfer of Research Scholars between other universities or research institutions and Alliance University, fostering a collaborative research environment.
Inclusivity Measures: Specific provisions and relaxations are in place for women Research Scholars and specially-abled individuals, ensuring an inclusive and supportive academic environment.
