B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering – DevOps (IBM)

Overview

The programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation in key aspects of computer science. With a strong emphasizes on the specialized domains of Continuous Integration (CI) and Containerization within the larger framework of DevOps, it aims to optimize collaboration between development and operations teams throughout the software development lifecycle, fostering efficiency and reliability. Students engage with essential tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI, gaining hands-on experience in automated builds and deployment pipelines to accelerate the delivery of high-quality software products.

A distinctive feature of our curriculum is the exploration of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), coupled with practical training in leading code management tools like Terraform and Ansible. This equips students with the skills to systematically automate and manage infrastructure, aligning with contemporary industry practices. The programme also covers Kubernetes orchestration and Docker containerization, highlighting their significant advantages in modern software development.

Graduates emerge with a strong understanding of foundational computer science principles and specialized expertise in DevOps, positioning them for success in the dynamic technology landscape.

For Regular

10+2 from recognized Board / Council with Minimum 50% marks in Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject.

Score in JEE (Main); JEE (Advanced); Karnataka CET; COMED-K; AUEET (Alliance University Engineering Entrance Test); or any other State-Level engineering entrance examination.


For Lateral Entry

Passed Diploma examination with at least 50% marks in relevant branch of Engineering and Technology.

Passed B. Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks & passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST.
