Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) - Animation Film Design

Overview

The four-year undergraduate programme in Animation Film Design at Alliance University offers a unique educational experience enabling them to become artistic and proficient design professionals. Our holistic curriculum allows each student to acquire discipline specific knowledge and skills within a broad framework of trans-disciplinary learning.

The programme fosters the craft of telling visual stories and creating intriguing characters, bringing to life new imaginary worlds. Students are taught various aspects of animation and film design including character drawing, script writing, 2D & 3D animation as well as pre and postproduction processes. Students will study traditional, stop-motion or computer animation and development. Students also gain real-world exposure through hands-on projects, industry collaborations, and internships.

The Animation Film Design programme equips students with the ability to skill and knowledge to create, direct and produce their own independent and collaborative animated films using latest techniques and technology whilst being grounded in the Indian contexts. It prepares you for a career ahead in the animation industry.
