Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Business Studies

Overview

Expanding beyond the scope of a traditional business degree, the BBA in Business Studies program integrates perspectives from economics, management, sociology, psychology, and public policy to understand the dynamics that influence business environments. Students engage with foundational areas such as marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and organisational behaviour while also exploring the social, cultural, and ethical contexts in which business decisions are made.

The program places strong emphasis on developing analytical, strategic, and leadership capabilities while situating business practices within wider societal contexts. Students examine themes such as innovation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, consumer behavior, and digital transformation through a combination of case studies, applied projects, and theoretical engagement.

Through sustained engagement with problem-solving, teamwork, and professional communication, they develop the ability to approach complex managerial challenges with critical insight and strategic thinking. Multiple internships and industry collaborations provide opportunities to apply classroom learning to real-world business contexts, including corporate organizations, startups, consulting environments, and social enterprises.

Graduates develop strong managerial, analytical, and communication skills and pursue diverse pathways, including careers in business management, consulting, marketing, entrepreneurship, financial services, and corporate leadership, as well as higher studies in management, public policy, and interdisciplinary fields within the social sciences.
