NSS Volunteers Participate in Heritage Conservation Drive in Marasuru Madiwala Village
01 February, 2026

When young minds step into history, preservation becomes a shared responsibility. NSS volunteers from Alliance University took part in a conservation and cleanliness drive at historic monuments in Marasuru Madiwala village, contributing to efforts aimed at protecting local cultural heritage.
The initiative provided students with an opportunity to engage directly with historically significant sites while understanding the importance of conservation and civic responsibility. Through structured activities focused on cleanliness and basic restoration support, the volunteers worked collectively to maintain and safeguard the monuments.
The drive also served as a learning experience, encouraging students to reflect on the value of heritage preservation and community involvement. By participating in on-ground efforts, the volunteers gained practical insight into how individual action can contribute to the protection of shared cultural assets.
Such initiatives reflect Alliance University’s continued emphasis on social responsibility and community engagement, while encouraging students to take an active role in preserving the cultural legacy around them.
