Alliance University was dedicated to encouraging students to pause, reflect, and prioritise their mental well-being. As part of the Mental Health Awareness Camp, the university hosted BLOCKBUSTERS!, an interactive event designed to blend fun with mindfulness. The initiative was organised in collaboration with YourDOST, the university’s official mental health partner.
The event provided a space for students to engage in meaningful conversations, connect with peers, and participate in activities that promoted awareness around mental health. It reflected the university’s ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive and mindful campus environment.
Learning, Laughter, and Connection
BLOCKBUSTERS! offered a vibrant mix of activities that combined learning with recreation. Students took part in games and exercises aimed at assessing mental health awareness and understanding personal strengths.
The session titled Challenge Yourself encouraged participants to reflect on their well-being through engaging and interactive tasks. Another activity, Discover Yourself, included quick personality-based exercises that helped students explore their individual traits and capabilities. These sessions allowed participants to understand themselves better while fostering a sense of self-awareness and acceptance.
A Mindful Afternoon
The event also featured Connect & Recharge, an informal and interactive space where students could unwind, share experiences, and build connections. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, open conversations, and a collective spirit of mindfulness.
As the university community prepared for the festive break, the event served as a gentle reminder that caring for one’s mental health is an essential part of overall well-being. Students left the session with renewed positivity and practical insights into maintaining emotional balance in everyday life.
