Guest Lecture on “Integrating Strategic Analysis and Risk Management in Solutioning”
10 October, 2025

The Alliance School of Business, Alliance University, organised a guest lecture on “Integrating Strategic Analysis and Risk Management in Solutioning” on 10 October 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. Devam Sardana, Head of Business at Lemonn, as part of the course Solutioning Frameworks and Applications for students of the MBA (July 2024 batch). The lecture, attended by 77 participants, aimed to help students understand how strategic analysis and risk management work together to support decision-making in complex business environments.
Learning Through Case-Based Exploration
The session drew upon two detailed case studies — Aryan Apparel and Bharat Aviation — to illustrate the challenges of solutioning in dynamic business contexts. Through these examples, participants examined how organisations navigate competing priorities such as cost efficiency, quality, innovation, speed to market, and brand positioning.
Students were encouraged to think critically about aligning cross-functional objectives across departments such as marketing, finance, procurement, and design. The discussions centred around evaluating trade-offs, resolving interdepartmental conflicts, and designing strategies that ensure both short-term adaptability and long-term growth.
