ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡ ಭವನಕ್ಕೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಭೇಟಿ: ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಭಾಷಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಅನುಭವ

ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ೨೦೨೬ರ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ೦೯ರಂದು ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡ ಭವನಕ್ಕೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಭೇಟಿಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಪರಂಪರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯವೈಖರಿ ಕುರಿತು ಆಳವಾದ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಹೊಂದಿತ್ತು.

ಒಟ್ಟು ೪೪ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ೯:೧೫ಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಮೊದಲ ಗುರಿಯಾದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ಇದರ ರಚನೆ, ವಾತಾವರಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವಲೋಕಿಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರವಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದ ನಾಲ್ವಡಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಜ ಒಡೆಯರ್‌ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಜ ಪರಿಷನ್ಮಂದಿರ, ಪಂಪ ಸಭಾಂಗಣ, ಕುವೆಂಪು ಸಭಾಂಗಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಕ್ಕಮಹಾದೇವಿ ಸಭಾಂಗಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಭೇಟಿಯು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸುವ, ಓದುವ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಾಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕುರಿತು ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡಿತು.

ಅನಂತರ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಪುರಾತನ ಹಸ್ತಪ್ರತಿಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಲಿಖಿತ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಹಸ್ತಪ್ರತಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಾಲಯವು ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಕುರಿತು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು.

ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ೧:೩೦ ರ ಸುಮಾರಿಗೆ ಭೋಜನ ವಿರಾಮದ ನಂತರ, ತಂಡವು ಕನ್ನಡ ಭವನಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿತು. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಅಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಗಳಾದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ, ಲಲಿತಕಲಾ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಜನಪದ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಲ್ಪಕಲಾ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಕಲಾ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿವೆ.

ಸಂಜೆ ಸುಮಾರು ೫:೩೦ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ, ಈ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಭೇಟಿಯು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಪೂರ್ಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧ ಅನುಭವವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅಭಿಮಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಿವು ಬೆಳೆಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯಕವಾಯಿತು.

Educational Visit to Kannada Sahitya Parishat and Kannada Bhavan: An Enriching linguistic and Cultural Experience

The Kannada Sangha, in collaboration with Dept. of Student Support Services, organized an educational visit to Kannada Sahitya Parishat and Kannada Bhavan on April 9, 2026. The initiative aimed to provide students with deeper exposure to Kannada language, literature, heritage, and the functioning of key cultural institutions.

A total of 44 students participated in the visit, which commenced at 9:15 AM from the university campus. The first destination, Kannada Sahitya Parishat, offered students valuable insights into one of Karnataka's most prominent literary organizations dedicated to the promotion of Kannada language and literature. During the visit, students observed the institutional structure, engaged with its academic environment, and explored the library facilities. The staff provided informative guidance, highlighting the significant contributions of Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar in the establishment and development of the Parishat.

Students visited key sections within the Parishat premises, including Krishnaraja Parishanmandira, Pampa Sabhangana, Kuvempu Sabhangana, and Akkamahadevi Sabhangana. The visit also encouraged literary engagement, as students actively explored and purchased Kannada books.

The group subsequently visited Sanskrit University Bangalore, where they gained insights into the preservation and documentation of ancient manuscripts. The manuscript museum served as a major highlight, offering a deeper understanding of historical records and traditional knowledge systems.

Following a lunch break at 1:30 PM, the visit continued to Kannada Bhavan, functioning under the Department of Kannada and Culture. Students were introduced to various academies operating under the department, including the Karnataka Sahitya Academy, Lalit Kala Academy, Karnataka Janapada Academy, and Shilpakala Academy. These institutions play a crucial role in promoting literature, visual arts, folk traditions, and cultural heritage across Karnataka.

The visit concluded at approximately 5:30 PM. Overall, the educational tour proved to be highly informative and enriching, significantly enhancing students' appreciation and understanding of Kannada language, literature, and cultural heritage.
