Alliance University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MH Cockpit on 11 October 2025, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing aviation education and expanding career pathways for students. This partnership reinforces the university’s focus on integrating academic learning with practical industry experience to prepare students for the evolving global aviation landscape.

MH Cockpit, a leading organisation in aviation studies, training, and software solutions for digital transformation and research, joins hands with Alliance University to co-develop and deliver industry-aligned academic programmes.

About the Collaboration

Through this collaboration, Alliance University will introduce two new undergraduate programmes — B.Sc. Aviation Aeronautical Science and BBA Aviation Management — at its auxiliary campus. These programmes are designed to bridge the gap between theoretical education and real-world application by embedding industry practices into the curriculum.

The partnership aims to strengthen academic quality, promote hands-on learning, and enhance student employability. Both institutions will jointly oversee marketing, admissions, curriculum development, assessment, and student placement activities.

Objectives and Benefits

The MoU outlines several key objectives, including integrating practical knowledge with classroom instruction, promoting internships and industrial visits, and offering placement support through MH Cockpit’s network of aviation and technology partners such as IndiGo, Vistara, Air India, HAL, AAI, and GMR.

The collaboration will also involve co-developing courseware, supporting term-end and continuous assessments, and engaging experienced faculty to ensure that the programmes meet both university and regulatory standards. The agreement includes provisions for shared branding and revenue, with both parties committed to maintaining transparency and compliance with UGC, AICTE, and other aviation regulatory norms.

For students, the partnership promises access to specialised training, internships, and placement opportunities with reputed aviation companies. The initiative also includes plans for upgraded infrastructure, guest lectures, and industry visits to enrich the learning experience.
