Alliance University Hosts GoI-Sponsored RAMP Awareness Workshop on Lean and ZED for MSMEs

Alliance University, through its Management Development Programmes (MDP) and Corporate Training Wing, organised a Government of India–sponsored RAMP Awareness Workshop on Lean and ZED for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bengaluru. The workshop was conducted on 3 December 2025 in partnership with KCTU and was aimed at supporting MSMEs in strengthening operational efficiency, quality standards, and sustainable business practices.
Focus on Lean and ZED Frameworks
The workshop focused on building awareness and understanding of the Lean and ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect) frameworks and their relevance to MSMEs. The sessions highlighted how these approaches can help enterprises improve productivity, enhance quality, and remain competitive in a changing economic environment. Participants were introduced to practical perspectives on adopting structured processes that support long-term growth and sustainability.
The speakers discussed policy perspectives, implementation approaches, and the broader role of quality and efficiency in enabling MSMEs to respond effectively to market demands.
Engagement with MSME Stakeholders
The day-long workshop saw active participation from entrepreneurs and industry stakeholders from the MSME ecosystem. The sessions encouraged dialogue, questions, and shared learning, allowing participants to connect policy intent with practical business applications. The engagement also reflected the collaborative effort between academic institutions, government bodies, and industry participants.
