Alliance University hosted the Alliance Alumni HR Conclave 2025, an initiative of the Alliance Alumni Association, bringing together industry leaders, HR professionals, alumni, and students for a focused discussion on the changing nature of work. The conclave provided a platform to examine how organisations are responding to technological advancement and evolving human dynamics, and how the role of HR continues to adapt in this context.
Theme and Chief Guest
The conclave was anchored in the theme “Reimagining Workplaces: Human Capital in the Age of Transformation.” The event featured Mr. Luigi Celmi, Chief Executive Officer, Lufthansa Systems, India, as the Chief Guest. His address highlighted the continued importance of the human dimension in HR and its role in building resilient organisations. The discussions throughout the event reinforced the idea that while technology is reshaping workplaces, human judgement, empathy, and leadership remain central to organisational success.
Panel Discussions and Key Conversations
The conclave included a series of panel discussions that examined contemporary HR challenges and opportunities. Topics covered included the use of artificial intelligence in talent acquisition, performance management, and learning personalisation, as well as the interaction between AI and human intention in workplace decision-making. Another panel focused on HR as a strategic business function, drawing on alumni journeys and professional insights to illustrate how HR leaders contribute to organisational strategy and growth.
These discussions encouraged practical reflection on how HR professionals can balance technological efficiency with people-centric practices in evolving work environments.
Alumni Engagement and Participation
The event reflected the strong engagement of the Alliance alumni community, bringing back professionals who once studied at the University and are now shaping workplaces across sectors and geographies. The conclave featured over 15 speakers, more than 60 alumni participants, and three panel discussions, with active participation from over 300 students. The presence of alumni created opportunities for dialogue, mentorship, and shared learning between industry practitioners and current students.

The Alliance Alumni HR Conclave 2025 demonstrated the Alliance Alumni Association’s commitment to creating meaningful platforms that connect academic learning with industry practice.
