Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering is one of the largest departments of its type in the UK and it is by far the largest in Scotland. Our research is carried out in award-winning and internationally recognised research centres in energy, aerospace, fluids and materials. The Department hosts a broad range of advanced research equipment including a £3 million investment in a state of the art advanced materials research laboratory which delivers a step change in multi-disciplinary experimental research capability. Our research programmes have delivered projects from marine turbines for clean energy to lightweight material for efficient transportation.

The First Joint International Conference on Advances in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (ICAMAE 2023) will be an esteemed gathering of researchers, academics and professionals from all over the world. CALL FOR PAPERS

Papers are invited in accordance with the theme of the conference to submit original research studies, and case studies. The papers should present novel research findings, discuss emerging trends and research directions, or provide new insights into the application of mechanical and aerospace engineering principles and technologies to real-world challenges. Authors are required to strictly avoid plagiarism in any form. Authors should submit their original and unpublished work not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts found to be plagiarized during any stage of review shall be rejected. As per the copyright transfer agreement, authors are deemed to be individually or collectively responsible for the content of the manuscript published by them.

  Manuscript Submission Guidelines:

The manuscript for the conference from research scholars, academics and industry/corporate experts from any nations are invited. The manuscript should be submitted in the prescribed template in English language.

  Proceedings Publications:

All accepted abstracts will be published in ICAMAE-2023 proceedings with the ISBN number after the payment of registration fees.

  Journal Publications:

All manuscripts submitted will be peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be published in SCIE/Scopus/WoS/Google Scholar journals with the author’s concern based on the recommendation from the technical committee. The processing fee is as per the norms of the publishers. Journals have given consent to publish high-quality manuscripts which are double-blind peer-reviewed papers by subject experts and after their reviewing process.

All the accepted manuscripts, based on their quality after peer review process by editorial committee, will be published in any one of the mentioned journals. It is required that atleast one author of all accepted papers have to register for the conference to ensure that the abstract is included in the proceeding. Only presented authors are allowed to publish their papers in the above-mentioned journals.

After acceptance of the manuscript from Technical committee, the authors must submit the manuscript as per the journal format within two weeks.

Publication Ethics

The conference proceedings’ editors ensure a peer-review process and ethical policies and standards to ensure high-quality scientific works are added to the field of scholarly publication.

Authors who wish to publish their papers in the conference proceedings / special issues are required to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Any potential conflict of interest involving the author(s) should be disclosed in the paper prior to submission.
  • Authors must accurately present their research findings and provide an objective discussion of the significance of their results.
  • Sufficient details about the research methodology and data used in the study must be included in the paper.
  • Submitting manuscripts to multiple conference proceedings or journals simultaneously is not allowed.
  • Republishing non-novel content is prohibited.
  • If errors or inaccuracies are discovered by the authors after their paper has been published, they must inform the conference editors immediately so that appropriate actions can be taken.
  • Plagiarism, data fabrication, and image manipulation are strictly prohibited. Any manuscript found to be involved in such violations will be immediately rejected, and any future manuscripts submitted by the same authors will be rejected for a period of two years.

  Policy on Retraction and Correction

Maintaining the integrity of the literature is of utmost importance to the editors. Corrections to published work will be made based on the situation, and the original article will be replaced with a note indicating the reason for retraction and the corrected version. If plagiarism is discovered, the entire article will be removed from the conference proceedings.

If an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, they have an obligation to promptly inform the conference editors or publisher and work with them to retract or correct the paper. If the editors or publisher become aware of a significant error in a published work through a third party, it is the author’s responsibility to retract or correct the paper promptly or provide evidence to the editors supporting the correctness of the original work.


  Originality and Plagiarism

Authors should ensure that they have produced entirely original work, and if they have used the work and/or words of others, they must properly cite or quote them. Plagiarism takes many forms, from rewording another’s paper as one’s own to copying or paraphrasing substantial portions of another paper (without attribution and citation) to claiming research results from other researchers. All forms of plagiarism are unacceptable and constitute unethical publishing behavior.


  Authorship of the Paper

Only those who have contributed significantly to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study reported should be listed as authors. All those who have made significant contributions should be included as co-authors. Acknowledgment or listing as contributors should be given to those who have participated in specific aspects of the research project. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that appropriate co-authors are included in the paper, that no inappropriate co-authors are included, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.


  Copyright and Accessibility

Authors must give their agreement that the published abstract will be available in PDF format on the conference website during the conference proceedings. Before printing, authors must sign and return the copyright agreement, with a scanned signed copy in PDF format.
