AJCCL provides a platform for in-depth analysis and discussion of contemporary issues in corporate and commercial law. As a double-blind peer-reviewed open access journal (e-ISSN : 2584-2463), AJCCL upholds rigorous academic standards and aims to foster a strong research culture by disseminating valuable insights and significant findings. We welcome submissions in the following categories:
Research Articles (5,000 - 8,000 words):
Substantive, analytical research offering original contributions to corporate and commercial law. These should demonstrate rigorous methodology, clear argumentation, and significant scholarly contribution.
Case Comments / Case Notes (3,000 - 5,000 words):
Insightful analyses of recent or landmark judicial decisions that have contemporary relevance to corporate and commercial law practice and scholarship.
Legislative Comments / Statute Notes (3,000 - 5,000 words):
Critical assessments of newly enacted or significantly amended statutes/bills, examining their impact, implications, and potential areas for reform.
Essays (3,000 - 5,000 words):
Theoretical or policy-oriented reflections supported by legal analysis. These explore ideas, propose frameworks, or engage with jurisprudential questions in corporate and commercial law.
Book Reviews (1,5000 - 2,500 words):
Critical appraisals of recently published works relevant to the journal's domain. Book reviews should assess the book's contribution, strengths, weaknesses, and relevance to the field.

Funding:
The author should disclose any funding received from research agencies (please specify the funding body and grant number) and/or any form of research support provided by organisations for the research.

Data Availability Statement:
All submissions must have a 'Data availability' statement. In this context, 'data' denotes any materials or information that support a body of research, regardless of whether it was developed or analysed by the writers. Data can be either quantitative (e.g., numerical) or qualitative (e.g., interview transcripts, photographs, etc.). If no data were generated or analysed, this must be explicitly stated in the paper.

Using Third-Party Material:
The author bears the responsibility for checking whether the material submitted is subject to copyright or ownership rights. The author must obtain the necessary permission to reuse third-party material in their article. If the author wishes to include any material in the paper for which the author does not hold copyright, the author needs to obtain written permission from the copyright owner prior to submission.

Ethical Declaration:
For research involving human participants (or their data), your article must include an Ethics Declaration statement comprising ethics approval and informed consent.

Conflict of interest:
Authors must include a Competing Interest statement clearly stating if there are any conflicts of interest.

Submissions to the journal would undergo a plagiarism check in Turnitin. The journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism, and manuscripts found to violate academic integrity will be rejected immediately.
Generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT) do not meet the criteria for authorship and cannot be listed as authors or co-authors. The use of AI-assisted technologies for content generation is strictly prohibited. However, authors may use AI-powered editorial software (e.g., Grammarly) to improve language, spelling, and grammar. Authors must clearly declare the use of any AI-assisted tools in the "Statements and Declaration" section of the manuscript. Failure to disclose the use of such tools or the discovery of undisclosed generative AI content will result in the rejection of the article.
