The Apple iOS App Development Certification Program is offered by the Centre of Excellence for Apple Technologies, Alliance University, to provide learners with practical knowledge, industry-relevant skills, and hands-on exposure to iOS application development using Swift, SwiftUI, and Xcode.

 The program is designed for students, professionals, researchers, and technology enthusiasts who wish to explore, develop, and research innovative mobile applications while strengthening their understanding of the Apple ecosystem for academic, entrepreneurial, and industry-oriented applications.

Module I Introduction to Swift and Playgrounds Xcode and Swift Playgrounds, constants and variables, data types, operators, conditional statements (if, switch), loops and iteration, debugging concepts, control transfer statements, compiler errors and warnings.
Module II Strings, Functions, Structures, and OOP Concepts String operations, Unicode, string interpolation, functions and parameters, structures and initializers, instance methods, classes and inheritance, arrays, sets, dictionaries, object-oriented programming concepts.
Module III Optionals, Persistence, and Codable Optionals and nil handling, optional binding and chaining, failable initializers, protocols, Equatable and Comparable, tables and persistence, data encoding and decoding using Codable.
Module IV App Anatomy and Project Organization Protocol creation, delegation pattern, app anatomy and lifecycle, MVC architecture, project organization, scroll views, stack views, Auto Layout constraints, content layout management, keyboard handling.
Module V Table Views and Data Integration Table view architecture, cells and controllers, data source and delegate methods, custom table view cells, data saving, file handling, encoding/decoding with Codable, Safari services, alerts, camera access, email integration, mini-project development.
