Dr. Syamkumar R. S. is the Professor at the School of Law and is also the Director of Center for Postgraduate Legal Studies. He received his Ph.D. from the Centre for Advanced Legal Studies and Research, Trivandrum.
He is the recipient of numerous laurels and fellowships including the Prakulam C. Padmanabhan Pillai Law Prize, M. S. Menon Gold Medal, Sadasivan Pillai Law Prize, Justice T. Kunhiraman Nair Memorial Gold Medal, and the Henry Dunant Scholarship by ICRC in 2006.
