B. Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

Overview

The B. Tech. in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AIDS) is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to build intelligent systems and extract actionable insights from complex data. The programme blends core computer science with specialised training in AI, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and big data analytics.

Students gain hands-on experience with data engineering, cloud computing, and advanced analytics tools, along with practical exposure to real-world applications in domains such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, smart cities, and cybersecurity. The curriculum emphasises programming, statistical modelling, and data visualisation, while fostering problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation.

Through industry projects, internships, and research opportunities, graduates are prepared for careers as AI engineers, data scientists, machine learning specialists, business intelligence analysts, and technology innovators, ready to meet the growing demands of the AI-driven economy.

B. Tech. (Regular)

10+2 from recognized Board / Council with Minimum 50% marks in Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject.

Score in JEE (Main); JEE (Advanced); Karnataka CET; COMED-K; AUEET (Alliance Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Test); or any other State-Level engineering entrance examination.


B. Tech. (Lateral)

Passed Diploma examination with at least 50% marks in relevant branch of Engineering and Technology.

Passed B. Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks & passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer) / Differently Abled.
