Understanding global trade has become an essential aspect of modern business education. With this perspective, Alliance University’s MDP & CTP Department organized a two-day intensive programme on Export-Import Procedures, aimed at providing participants with practical knowledge of international trade practices.
The session was led by Mr. D. Murugesan, Senior Faculty and Trade Finance Specialist, formerly associated with Canara Bank and a training faculty with the Reserve Bank of India. The programme covered key areas such as INCOTERMS, Letters of Credit, government incentives, and customs processes. These topics were presented in a structured manner to help participants understand complex frameworks through real-world applications.
Participants actively engaged with the content throughout the programme. The sessions encouraged discussions on global trade strategies, pricing, and risk management, allowing attendees to explore how theoretical concepts apply in practical scenarios. This interactive approach supported a deeper understanding of the subject and helped participants build confidence in navigating international markets.
The programme focused not only on knowledge sharing but also on its application in real business contexts. It highlighted the importance of approaching global trade with clarity and informed decision-making.
Through such initiatives, Alliance University continues to provide learning opportunities that connect academic concepts with industry practices, supporting participants in developing skills relevant to the evolving global economy.
