Introduction
The Department of Information Technology, Alliance School of Advanced Computing (ASAC), organised a special event titled “The Pen Behind Technology” . The session brought together authors whose work has guided generations of learners and practitioners in the field of computer science and technology.
Distinguished Guests
The event was honoured by the presence of three eminent figures in the world of technology and education. Shri Yashavant Kanetkar, a renowned computer scientist, Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, and author of widely read books such as Let Us C and Understanding Pointers in C, addressed the gathering. His contributions have long been associated with shaping the understanding of programming among students and professionals alike.
Joining him was Shri Saikat Dutt, an experienced professional in software project management with credentials including PMP, PMI-ACP, and CSM. He is also an accomplished author who has consistently highlighted the role of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in advancing project management education and practice.
The third speaker, Shri A. M. Padma Reddy, is a respected academic leader and researcher. His textbooks on C programming, data structures, and formal languages continue to serve as core resources for students and educators in the discipline.
