The Centre for Research, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at Alliance University, organised a session titled “Impact from Startups: Start Up for Good.” The event aimed to inspire students to explore how entrepreneurial ideas can be transformed into purposeful ventures that create a lasting social and economic impact.

The talk was delivered by Mr. Ashik S. V, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Panjurli Labs Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, who shared his perspectives on the power of startups to drive innovation and meaningful change. Drawing from his professional journey, Mr. Ashik spoke about the importance of perseverance, problem-solving, and social responsibility in building successful entrepreneurial ventures.

Insights from an Entrepreneurial Journey

The session, held under the Idea to Impact initiative, was organised in collaboration with CFR, E-Cell, IEEE WIE, and ASAE. Mr. Ashik discussed how startups can serve as catalysts for addressing real-world challenges through creative and sustainable business models. He emphasised that innovation should go beyond commercial success and focus on solving societal problems with integrity and vision.

His reflections on the startup ecosystem provided participants with a realistic understanding of the challenges and opportunities in entrepreneurship.
