Spreading awareness on health and encouraging collective responsibility, Alliance University organised a Blood Donation Drive alongside an Eye Check-up Camp this April. The initiative reflected a shared commitment to care, community, and overall well-being.
The event was organised by the Department of Student Support Services in collaboration with the Happiness Club and Narayana Health. It brought together students, faculty, and staff, who participated actively in both the blood donation drive and the eye check-up camp.
The blood donation drive witnessed encouraging participation, with close to 100 units of blood collected during the initiative. Each contribution represented a meaningful effort towards supporting those in need of medical care. The drive also helped raise awareness about the importance of regular blood donation as a social responsibility.
Alongside this, the eye check-up camp saw strong engagement from participants. It provided access to professional consultations and encouraged individuals to take a more informed and proactive approach to eye health. The initiative helped create awareness about preventive care and the importance of regular health check-ups.
The event went beyond its immediate outcomes and reflected a collective effort towards supporting the well-being of the wider community. It demonstrated how individual actions, when brought together, can contribute to meaningful impact.
Through such initiatives, Alliance University continues to promote awareness, responsibility, and participation in activities that support both individual and community health.
