Alliance University Strengthens Placement Readiness through Mock GD and Interview Sessions
11 July, 2026

Alliance University conducted a Mock Group Discussion and Personal Interview session for students of the M.Sc. in Data Science, M.Tech. and MCA programs. The initiative was organized to familiarize students with the expectations of recruitment processes and help them approach placement interviews with greater clarity and confidence.
The session was designed to closely reflect real selection procedures followed by employers. Students participated in group discussions and individual interviews based on relevant job descriptions and their resumes. This approach allowed them to understand how recruiters evaluate candidates across different stages of the hiring process.
Participants were assessed on technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, programming skills, data analysis, understanding of emerging technologies, project experience, and communication. The session also encouraged students to present their ideas clearly, respond to questions in a structured manner, and relate their academic learning to practical workplace requirements.
The evaluation panels included industry experts and faculty members, bringing together professional and academic perspectives. Their observations helped students understand both the technical and behavioral aspects of interview performance. Each participant received structured feedback on individual strengths and areas that needed further development.
By creating a realistic interview environment, the initiative gave students an opportunity to review their preparation, refine their responses, and improve their professional presentation. It reflected Alliance University's continued focus on strengthening industry readiness, professional confidence, and career preparedness among students.
