Alliance University is proud to announce that it has received official approval to establish a National Cadet Corps (NCC) wing, beginning in the academic year 2025–26. This marks a significant milestone in the University's continued efforts to promote discipline, leadership, and national service among its student community.
To initiate the programme, the University hosted an NCC Orientation Session, introducing students to the structure, benefits, and responsibilities associated with NCC membership. The session was well-received by an enthusiastic audience of undergraduate students eager to engage in this transformative opportunity.
The Selection Drive for NCC cadets was conducted in collaboration with officials from the NCC Headquarters, bringing rigour and authenticity to the recruitment process. This initiative is open to all First-Year and Second-Year Undergraduate students, as well as any undergraduate student holding a valid NCC ‘B’ Certificate.
In its inaugural year, the NCC wing will admit fewer cadets, with scope for increased intake in the future based on student interest and participation. This initiative is directly aligned with the Activity Points system, newly introduced for the undergraduate batch of 2025. Students selected into the NCC will earn full activity points, while all students participating in the selection process will also receive activity points, recognising their initiative and effort.
The launch of the NCC wing reflects Alliance University’s commitment to fostering leadership, service, and holistic student development, while empowering young individuals to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.
