Effective communication plays a vital role in leadership, professional growth, and entrepreneurial success. Recognising its importance, the Institution's Innovation Council, Alliance University, and E-Cell, in collaboration with the School of Design and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE), organised an interactive session titled "The Language of Leadership: How Mastering Communication Builds Unstoppable Careers and Entrepreneurship."

The session was led by Mr. Shashank Sethi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of iHorizon Communications, who shared insights on how communication influences leadership effectiveness, customer relationships, and business growth. Drawing from his professional experience, he highlighted the role of clear and purposeful communication in building successful careers and entrepreneurial ventures.

During the session, participants explored the importance of listening with the intent to understand customers rather than simply responding. The discussion emphasised how meaningful engagement can help organisations better understand customer needs and build stronger relationships. Students were also introduced to the significance of creating an authentic brand story that fosters trust and establishes emotional connections with audiences.

The session further focused on communicating with clarity, confidence, and impact in professional environments. Participants gained practical perspectives on presenting ideas effectively, engaging diverse audiences, and strengthening their personal and professional communication styles. Another key area of discussion was the role of body language in communication, particularly in understanding customer behaviour and enhancing interpersonal interactions.

The programme provided students with practical insights that can support their academic, professional, and entrepreneurial journeys.
