Alliance University, in collaboration with the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), New Delhi, hosted a Government of India-sponsored NPS Awareness Workshop for MSMEs. The workshop focused on strengthening financial awareness and encouraging informed approaches to long-term retirement planning.

The session featured Mr. Shailendra Babu Balasubramanian, Assistant Manager, PFRDA, and Mr. Renuka Prasad, Key Account Manager, HDFC Pension, who shared insights into the National Pension System (NPS) and its relevance for long-term financial planning.

The discussions covered key aspects of NPS, including its benefits, investment options, tax advantages, retirement planning, and approaches to building long-term financial security. Participants gained a clearer understanding of how structured financial planning can support preparedness for future financial needs.

The workshop provided MSME leaders and professionals with an opportunity to engage with experts and strengthen their understanding of retirement planning and financial decision-making. Through such initiatives, Alliance University continues to facilitate industry engagement and create platforms that contribute to greater financial awareness, preparedness, and resilience.
