Alliance University hosted the one-day international seminar, “National Consciousness and the Role of Youth: Towards Building a Strong and Empowered Nation,” bringing together academic and leadership perspectives on the role of young people in shaping the future of the nation.

The seminar focused on themes including youth participation, innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and nation-building. The discussions encouraged students to reflect on how knowledge, responsibility, creativity, and social awareness can contribute to a stronger and more empowered society.

The program featured Dr. Deepak Vohra, former Indian diplomat of the Indian Foreign Service and UPSC Interview Mentor; Mr. Abhay G. Chebbi, Pro-Chancellor, Alliance University; and Dr. Priestly Shan Boaz, Vice-Chancellor, Alliance University. Their participation brought together perspectives from diplomacy, higher education, leadership, and public engagement.

A key session, “Empowering Youth for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development: Global Perspectives,” examined the importance of preparing young people to respond to emerging social, economic, and environmental challenges. The session also highlighted the value of innovation and entrepreneurship in creating meaningful opportunities and contributing to sustainable development.

The seminar provided students with a platform to engage with ideas around citizenship, leadership, and national responsibility. It reflected Alliance University’s continued focus on creating academic spaces that encourage informed dialogue, global perspectives, and active youth participation in nation-building.
